Good seasonal food,pleasant staff, my current favourite in Lewes.
This restaurant is tucked away on the bottom end of Cliffe High St. Their ethos is locally sourced fresh organic food cooked to order. The menu is always mouthwatering and there are difficult decisions to be made. They sell very nice bottled organic lager and a good selection of wines. The food is excellent and very well presented, whether it’s a sandwich at lunchtime or a main course in the evening. One of the chefs has just been nominated for Sussex young chef of the year 2008. There is also a deli.
