Is growler your name or occupation? I can only imagine that you went on the one day in the year where the employees were in a bad mood. When ever i go there, it is always heaving with customer and happy to help employees. I have never experianced bad attitude. Maybe it was something to do with you !!!!!

Went there on Saturday 13/10/2012 and ordered two bags of £1.30 chips only to find that there about 20 to 25 chips in each bag they rip me off and will never go in there again

Offensive content?
By far and away the most popular chip shop in the area and the chips are simply second to none.
The weird prices are baffling to the uninitiated but that only adds to the charm of this place.
Only managed 2 stars from Wolves Councils “Scores on the doors” but that doesn’t worry me as my experience of the place is that the food is consistently excellent.
Highly recommended.

iv just visited majors chip shop its been awhile since i'v been in there and now i remember why
1 ordered fish and chips "LARGE FISH"
what i got would not feed a hamster i should of ordered minifish they are about the same size and cost double to every other chipshop in bilston .
2 and most important the customer service sucks there's a short overweight red haired woman workin there that is so nasty i can only assume she is related to adolf hitler she was abusive to all customers in there including me she showed up the young girls most of which are school leavers trying to earn a few quid one young girl gave a few to many chips to a customer instead of telling her quite this nasty natzi shouted her mouth off infront of all the customers
3 if u want good value and friendly service go somewhere else

I was there last week and I peered over the counter and saw this tiny fish, when I questioned why it was so small , she said it was deep but not very long! Not good enough as most times I have been there recently the fish is tiny. The food is excellent but I feel like I am being ripped off.

I agree with tempo - its a legendary place and on saturdays people are queuing outside the door - even in the rain! I know some people who don’t like orange chips - but for those that do - you can’t beat 'em.

Locally famous chip shop legendary across the West Midlands for its bright orange chips which are full of flavour and literally melt in your mouth. Nothing beats a bag of Majors chips plastered in salt and vinegar.
The best chip shop in the Midlands.
