Hippy Rose Vintage, Brighton

I was on a visit to see friends down in the Brighton area this week-end and I make use of this time wisely by always restocking on vintage finds.

There are many glorious vintage boutiques and antique stores here to keep you busy rummaging for that treasured one of a kind piece.

Sadly my vintage radar alluded me yet once again and it appears that this vintage store no longer exists in this location - has it moved?

I was upset to find it gone but have since discovered they have an on-line store. I rarely buy vintage on line as I prefer to try things on in a shop and both see and smell the item in person. Call me old fashioned but often the descriptions and pictures of an item can be misleading and I hate the smell of moth balls!

Love love love this store…I never leave empty handed. If you’re looking for fabulous one-off dresses or even accessories to perfect an outfit come here! Everybody is friendly and knows a lot about vintage…the owner even sourced a pillar box hat I had been looking for for ages.

I love this store!!! Every item is in great condition… its affordable, and i always get loads of compliments when i wear something from Hippy Rose.

My favourite items are all the retro snakeskin bags…the vintage gina heels and the beautiful vintage evening dresses.
I feel like i’ve stepped out of a film when i wear the items!!

The owner always spends loads of time advising me on each item… when and where its from and what best to put it with.

One of the best shops in Brighton… i very much like my customer loyalty discount too :)
