Adams is part of a fairly small chain. they are professional; they are expensive; they are about as good as it gets. If anything falls short of YOUR expectations the frames or lenses will be changed without comment and with a smile. You pay for quality and you get it. They have an excellent selection of fashion frames and professional (Tag Heuer - Chopard for example) if you have the £££. The bottom line is that the advice will be as top notch as the product.

Not a discount shop for glasses - either in price, or quality of service by staff.

Yes, you could find cheaper at say…..Boots up the road, but the service doesn’t even come close to what you will recieve at Adams. They stock designer ranges, as well as some of the less expensive ranges. Keep it local, right?

OK, this won’t be the cheapest place to buy glasses - but you get what you pay for. The glasses are excellent quality.

The staff are all helpful and friendly. The place is not as modern as some - but the frames are, and there is a good selection.

I have a very complex prescription and the optician and dispender both took ages making sure I had the best possible lenses. I felt much more confident leaving there than I have done in the past from all the budget places.

Highly recommeded.
