The Woodcutter

The Woodcutter is located in the Abronhill area of Cumbernauld. It has a lounge with a conservatry and a beer garden and a bar. The pub sells food all day which is tasty and reasonably priced, Food ranges from sandwiches and toasties to meals and desserts. The staff here are friendly and you normaly get service with a smile. The downside I find with this place is the toilets, although they are clean, there is only two ladies cubicals in the lounge and only one in the bar. Can mean a bit of a wait when bussy. There is also no disabled toilet and no baby changing facilities. The lounge plays host to a quiz night followed by a game of bingo on a Thursday and a disco on a Saturday. The bar has a big screen and shows football matches etc. Not as busy these days as it used to be so you can normaly get a seat.
