Let me start by saying that both the food and prices are great. I have been to this shop many times for chinese food since the shop up the road stopped selling chinese and i've always enjoyed it. The biggest let down for this place is however the size of the shop in being it is very small and the state of the interior in that is fairly antiquated now. It also gets very busy at times which can be quite uncomfortable given the size of the shop!

After many poor chinese meals I have finally found a great one, nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff at the sun do, take away. Steve the owner always has a smile on his face and the service is always great.
As for the food have to give them an A+ always hot and very tasty can,t fault anything about the sun do. When I want a chinese the sun do is the only one for me. Ps Just a tip order by phone as they do get very busy especially at the weekends.

I have been going to the Sun Do for a few years now and it never fails to impress ... Great food and good prices.
The food is fresh and very tasty! Staff are helpful and friendly.
My advice: Call first and place an order otherwise there will be a queue, but even if you don't pre-book do not be put off as trust me the wait will be worth it!

Sun Do is fantastic. We always used to get the family Chinese takeaway from here and it always did the trick. It isn’t healthy. And it can be busy with a large queue. But it rarely takes more than 20 minutes to get your order and if you plan ahead and ring in your order before you pick up, it’ll be ready when you get there. The prices are good on the set meals and they will definitely fill you up. With plenty to spare. Parking isn’t great, there is about 5 slots which can be awkward to reverse out of if the lights are not on your side, but don’t let that put you off, you’ll get a spot. Very much recommended for that much needed Chinese. And the staff are friendly, and after a while will get to know you!

The only time the Sun Do is ever quite is on a Tuesday evening… and that’s because it’s shut on Tuesdays!
Steve, the owner of the Sun Do, is always rushed off his feet and never fails to serve his customers with a smile. This man is the Duracel Bunny of the Chester takeaway scene.
As you walk in you see large trays of ribs staying warm above the fryers. These ribs are like a signature dish and are well worth the cost. The Chinese menu has all the usual fayre and the quality is good throughout. The english selection (fish, sausage, chicken and chips) are all equally as good and can be purchased as a 'meal’ deal.
It’s out of town but well worth the trip… get yourself a bag of ribs and enjoy.
