Lovely fresh breads, cakes, sandwiches, sausage rolls, etc. The staff are always friendly and there’s a great selection of savouries and sweet things.

Great seasonal goodies - chocolate cake to DIE for!

They make fresh sandwiches while you wait, which are always good, as well as Jacket potatoes, sausage rolls, etc.

They’re part of the Simmons Bakers of Hatfield, so always nice fresh bread.

What more can I say? Lovely bakers with quality products and reasonable prices - especially on that month’s special offers.

They have hot items, a bakers counter, hot drinks, a fridge with pre-prepared sandwiches etc. and they also make to order. There is a small seated area and when nice you can sit outside - however this is only on the High Street pavement.

I have marked them down only because they do get very, very busy at lunchtimes. That is a sign of quality, but it can be a long, long wait at times. But worth it. Especially if you are buying cheese straws!
