Oxfam has a policy of maximising the value of their donated products and the staff in ths shop are knowledgable and will do their research to ensure items are not under sold. Having said that the quality of the products is excellent and you can still get great designer goods at fabulous prices. If you want cheap go to Primark (any Primark products will still be cheaper here); if you want something preloved, different and even quirky knowing it will support a great cause – shop here. Its true the shop can be full and feel disorganised but that’s because the staff never refuse a donation and try to maximise its income by selling as much as it can. The ‘ordering’ service is great, if its not on the shop floor or in the stock room you can leave your details and you’ll get a call when something suitable comes in. (This works too at the fabulous new Oxfam bookshop down the road too!)
A shop on the High Street, great to browse round. I do feel that the items are on the expensive side. Its definately worth a look and you never know when you will see a bargain. Has a variety of goods ranging from the usual clothing, toys, household bits, books, dvds, cds to new items made for Oxfam and the fairtrade items. The shop has bit of a disorganised feel about it and feels a bit cramped sometimes.

Great selection of clothes here, but best part is, if you don’t see it - ask! How many charity shops do that?
Fantastic childrens clothing sale twice yearly - don’t miss it.
little bit of everything for everyone.
great window displays, also nice growing range of fair trade products to buy - can’t resist the divine chocolate!

This is a large charity shop located on the High Street. They have the usual range of second hand clothing and books and bric a brac. The window displays are always eyecatching.
The clothing is usually well stocked but I feel it is over priced - many people comment they could get something brand new from Primark in Hemel Hempstead for half the price. It does however have good quality clothing and you can pick up new items on occasion.
