HSBC Bank

A lovely friendly branch which is always busy. Helpful and attentive staff always available!
Could be better if it had better parking and opened on Saturdays - but all round a nice branch to use if you are in the high street in the week!

I have to agree with the previosu review about HSBC. The Folkestone branch has the service expected in the past, it is a well run establishment and the staff are always polite, fast and knowledgable. There is always someone at the greeting desk who will certainly catch your eye as you walk in and will direct you to the area you require, they are especially good if you need help to pay a deposit in at the deposit machine. I like the fact that they make an effort to give the building a festive feel during holidays, they decorate the room with colourful ballons to mark the event. There are two cash machines outside the building, one is around the side so that it is accessible to wheelchair users and there is a slope as well a steps. There is also one machine located in the building.

If you are looking for a personal service from your bank, Roger and his team at HSBC come highly recommended. You can actually talk to a real person about your account, and they have a broad range of services. This branch is always doing things with the community, and have engaged well with the business community. The building itself still retains its original features so it can be a little cramped in there at busy times, but they always seem to have enough staff on at lunchtimes etc. so you don’t have to wait too long. Only thing that would make it perfect would be customer car parking at the back, which is why I tend to use the branch in Cheriton if I just want to nip in quickly to pay money in.
