Great place. We have been a number of times and never been disappointed in the food. Quiet midweek nights can mean atmosphere is missing but still great service.

This is a great little curry house at the Manor House Gardens end of Lee High Road. It's certainly cosy, but it's got a lovely, friendly atmosphere and was nicely busy on the last night (Saturday) when we went along.

You can tell it's a step above your average Indian restaurant by the vast selection of chutneys which accompany your poppadoms - SEVEN chutneys in all, and they were all delicious.

The menu is pretty vast, but unlike a lot of curry houses I've been to, they also do daily specials of starters, curries and vegetable side dishes.

It did take a little while to order, but we didn't mind in the slightest as we were in no rush, and all in all we spent a very fun couple of hours in there. The food was incredibly tasty, and they let me take home my leftovers, which is always a bonus.

Lunch today = SORTED.

Seriously, pay this restaurant a visit if you're ever in the area or if you live locally. You'll have to book Thursday - Sunday, and you should probably be aware that it's closed on Tuesdays.

At the end of the meal the manager gave us all Spice of Life keyrings, and proudly announced that we were now officially 'key fob members', which entitles us to a range of discounts. It was a proud moment for me, and the keyring now has a permanent place on my ever-growing bunch of keys.

This is, as far as I know, the best Indian on Lee High Road. Great service, great food, people come back again and again. You will ned to book at weekends. I have used for many years and have never been dissapointed. Beats the more pricey restaurants in Blackheath for VFM.

An excellent curry can be garnered at this local restaurant on Lee High Road.

Stuck along a parade of news agents and kebab shops you could be mistaken for thinking this was just another generic curry shop.

The food here is first rate and well worth a try. A good selection of very well prepared Indian food that stands out well above the average.

They don’t deliver so you’ll have to pay a visit in person if you want to give it a go, but it’s well worth it. Definitely one of the the best currys in the area.
