Review of The Kilton from 19 August 2010

Nice Friendly Staff, however, had been looking forward to a traditional GREAT BRITISH HAND BATTERED COD & CHUNKY CHIPS, my meal at THE The KILTON INN, MERE, KNUTSFOD on 2 August 2010 turned out tobe a huge disappointment ! Batter was thick part uncooked and indigestable, Cod was thin, brown in colour and tasteless, probably the worst Fish & Chips I've ever ever eaten. Costing £8 plus per portion an absolute digrace ! Will never visit a Chef & Brewer again. EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT WITH QUALITY OF FOOD !

Review of The Kilton from 21 November 2008

The Kilton is a fairly average chain pub in High Legh. Fairly average food, not very well presented. A bit 'the same’ as lots of other pubs inside. Not many locals. It has a travel inn or something similar which makes it a handy place to stay for those visiting the gorgeous town of Knutsford, but not a particulary good place for food - pretty average infact.
