Wonderful, ranging area offering the great outdoors in the middle of Frankfurt. Well kept paths, roomy enough for walkers and cyclists without fractiousness, arena where Frankfurt Galaxy (American football) play, a “nightingale meadow” that I have never been able to find, plenty of play areas for kids and opportunities all over for picnics, sun bathing or just lazing.
Worked over for the National garden show in the 1980s with plenty of public transport stops all around it is well worth a visit at any time of the year.
