Review of Pizza Gogo from 30 October 2011

I beg of you, please please please DO NOT order from this place!!! I agree with the review above.

Waited an hour and a half for the pizza, when it finally turned up we found that the box had been squashed into the pizza. Lifting the lid meant the toppings got pulled off the pizza and we were left with a doughy base which obviously tasted god awful. I rang up to complain and the guy was very rude and then just hung up on me. I was so incensed by this I rang and wrote to their head office trying to get some kind of response. Nothing!! It’s been three weeks now, 3 phone calls and two letters, and I keep getting passed from one person to another. This might sound like drastic action but it drives me mad to think people can treat paying customers like this!

Also had garlic bread which was soggy and tasteless and chips which were just mush.

Do yourself a favour and buy pizza elsewhere. These guys don’t deserve your custome.

Review of Pizza Gogo from 15 November 2009

Awful! we ordered a pizza deal from here, being told it would be 40 mins, and it took an hour and a half to arrive! obviously by this time the food was cold! we tried to complain and refused to pay until we spoke to the manager, ultimately ending with the guy on the end of the phone threatening to smash our door in himself for the money, and we ended up reporting them to the POLICE, who are currently chasing it up!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT ORDERING FROM HERE AT ALL COSTS!

as for the food, it was cold, greasy and pretty much felt like we were eating cardboard! cake was ok tho!

Review of Pizza Gogo from 23 May 2009

They’re pretty rude mofos at this cheap pizza delivery/takeaway place on Upper Richmond Road West.

Generally, you wouldn’t order pizzas from here unless it’s late at night, in some drink or drug fueled delirium when everywhere else on the high street is closed. Everything they do is pretty greasy and they never seem to have the fabled stuffed crust that they advertised. While I’ve put worse stuff inside me, I tend to stay away from this place unless I want to feel filthy the next day. It is quite cheap though.

Review of Pizza Gogo from 21 November 2008

“Once tried, never forgotten” Pizza Gogo claim. Quite accurate - I’m not sure I’ll forget this disappointing pizza.

Responding to the menu through our letterbox, I opted for their X-TRA Value deal (free garlic bread and potato twisters) in addition to the super large pizza.

I was lured in by their cheap prices (relative to the consistently excellent Papa John’s pizza). Sadly this was a mistake. Although the pizza arrived quickly, the results were thoroughly underwhelming. The “potato twisters” were undercooked and soggy, and after trying a couple they were discarded, moving onto the garlic bread. Not bad, but really just French bread with a fleeting garlic after-taste.

The pizza itself did not appear appetising. The cheese was over baked and dark brown. The base and toppings stingy and thin. Despite the appearance, the pizza didn’t actually taste to bad, and we did make most of our way through it, but was way below expectations.

The only thing keeping me from rating 1 star was the fact that it arrived quickly; we certainly won’t order from here again.

Conclusion: Pizza NoNo.
