London’s only record shop specialising in hardcore punk is a model for all record shops. It’s definitely a niche market, but this tiny shop is really well organised -- it’s kind of amazing how many sub-genres there are of punk, but if you’ve got a band name someone will point you in the right direction. The staff are super friendly and are always keen to chat about music (and not just punk). They’re exactly the kind of people you want running a record store: they take music seriously but obviously want you to love it as much as they do.
They also get lots of limited run discs in, so you’re bound to find some hidden gem. It’s a must for hardcore kids, especially if you’ve got time to dig.
