Israel Trade Fairs Center

A massive trade show and convention centre, close to Tel Aviv’s airport and city centre. They have trade shows in plastics, IT, autombiles: you name it. I was here a couple of years back for a telecom conference and was impressed by the sheer sprawling size and variety of exhibitors (particularly the Israeli defence ministry’s pavillion). Food courts, giveaways from models, it was quite a show. It’s not the most modern exhibition centre I’ve seen - you don’t often get that futuristic, forward-looking sense from the architecture and environment - but it’s not old and crumbling, either.

There are train and bus transport links, lost of parking, a 24-hour customer service line, and plenty of information in English and Hebrew on their web page.

The Centre also sometimes serves as a concert venue for large pop and rock acts that visit Tel Aviv.
