This is a pretty huge store so for the majority of customers, you can usually find what you’re looking for. With the increase of online sites such as play.com offering low price deals, I’ve noticed HMV offering a similar number of special offers on CDs, DVDs and the like and the great advantage is that you don’t have to wait for your item to be delivered - you can get your hands on it there and then. The staff are always helpful and friendly and I usually find the store to be pretty well laid out. Anytime I wander in, I usually don’t leave empty handed!

HMV situated at the West End of the Princes Street, it is a big HMV store, with a huge range of products. You will find here almost every DVD, music CD or game you are looking for. The store hae three different floors, with different sections on eahc floors, you might get slightly confused as DVDs are on two of the floors. The members of staff are friendly and helpful and will assist you if you cant find something you are looking for. You dont have to wait a long time to be served as there is a payment point on each of the floors.

what can be said about HMV. it has everything from girls aloud to pergolesi. of all the hmv in scotland, this is one of the few that is on different floors with distinct flavours to each floor - i just love the classical department. the people o the fllor know their music and are always willing to put something on the CD player for you to hear - not always possible in some shops that have a playlist of the latest Now album. the staff in HMV are also consistently young and attractive - there must be a rule somewhere that ugly folk can’t work here
