Parque da Cidade

Situated in my home town this was a breathing space that Barreiro needed and it really made that possible. It is a very nice place for a walk, specially during the night on those hot summer days, usually during holidays there is always something on, with a fireworks show at the end.

This is a fairly big newly built garden, with this I mean that the trees that were planted there still haven’t reach their full majesty, they are still small and don’t provide a whole amount of shade. But it sure adds to the greenery of this once industrial city. It has 3 courts of tennis, 3 fitness courses, a coffee shop, a climbing wall, a skate park, lots of ducks, 2 ponds, a show hall with art gallery and plenty of space for relaxation.
