Utterly pointless and unwanted chain coffee shop undermining the lovely local shopping area. Ok, the Brunswick Centre now contains many chains, but Marchmont Street nearby is full of wonderful coffee shops and cafes. This Starbucks would not even allow us to advertise a local community garden enterprise. Bah. And as with all Starbucks the coffee is overpriced crap in a cup.
Like most places in this recently tarted-up shopping center, this starbucks is awful. The drinks are horrible, the service is worse, the company is abysmal (local snobs), and they don’t even let you use the bathroom!
Try to avoid the brunswick center compleatly! Other than the Renoir cinema, and the chinese restaurant next to it, the whole of the shopping center is simply a tarted-up middle-class concrete-desert, which once was a run-down working-class concrete-desert.
yuck.
