Forbidden Planet

For a back issue collector this shop won't be of any use to you,but then again,Nottingham is now without a shop that sells back issues.I always get my comic bags and boxes from FP,but don't expect bargains here,most stuff is full priced and ou won't get anything half price perhaps a 20 percent discount but thats all.Staff are very friendly though.

Friendly , helpful staff who actually know what they’re talking about . They have a good range of Japanese manga in English translation . The American selection looks fairly good to me but its not really my thing – so don’t take my word for it . The badges on the counter are really great too .

Forbidden Planet as a whole is a great store especially if you are a specialised comic or figure collector as my husband was. This store is larger than the last one in Nottingham but ots still not large enough for the amount of stock they carry . The staff always seem alittle odd looking , but , please dont let this put you off they are a bunch of very helpful , friendly people. Who all seem to know alot about their work section. A great store if 'thats your thing '

I actually don’t like this Forbidden Planet store as much as the Derby one and this is due to the size of this one in comparison to the size of the Derby one.

This shop is very small, cramped and does not have as much stock as the Derby forbidden planet.

It is still a great store for all your comic, game, sci-fi and action figure needs. They seem to have a good selection and the prices are the same as the other forbidden planet (slightly expensive).

This forbidden planet also seems quite dark as well and does not have as many staff as the Derby store.

A great thing about this forbidden planet is that they do have some great events on, which i am told are very popular. They include signings, meetups and contests. The Derby forbidden planet does not get these kind of things which is a shame.

fantastic shop for old and young alike. If you enjoy USA based programmes great for merchandise. Lots of Halo, star trek, Star wars and lots lots more. If you cant find it anywhere else Forbidden Planet normally have it or know where you can get it. Friendly, knowledgable staff.
