Just had mens hair cut by Hiro at Eton Crop. Am very pleased. Was very attentive and listened carefully to my initial requests of what type of style and length of cut I was after. Described to me (in broken english) what he was gonna do before proceeding. Was a bit concerned at first that the communication barrier was gonna be a problem but the result was a top notch cut and great finish. Very attentive, spent a lot of time perfecting cut and finish. Took a long time though. Was at the salon for over 1 1/2 hrs. But having had a number of rather hit and miss cuts over the years from London hairdressers who don't know how to cut oriental hair I was impressed and will definitely return. Quirky Japanese service : washed my hair twice - before and after cut, shoulder massage, complimentary drink, free gift at end and even trimmed my eye brows! And only £40.

Just had a haircut at Eton Crop by Senior Stylist HIRO - it is the best hair cut I have had anywhere in London. First rate cutting and really professional finish. I'm delighted and definitely recommend this salon.

Visited this hairdressers after I read the previous review. Have been to many Japanese hairdressers in Japan and this one comes very close to the service there. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed with the service. First, a consultation about what hairstyle I wanted, was shown some hair mags. Then, hair wash with relaxing head massage. Then, took a lot of time to cut my hair exactly right. Next, dried my hair and cut some more. After, second hair wash. Then, an exhilerating head and shoulder massage. Blow dried my hair, paid and they gave me a little gift as I left feeling gorgeous and pampered for £40. Definitely returning!!!

Love love love this Japanese hairdressers, been to them a few times now and love every experience!
Everytime I go, I get my hair washed, a head massage, haircut, refreshments, a neck and shoulder massage and a little trinket, all for £35.
Taiki is the guy who normally cuts my hair and whenever I describe what I want, he’s quick to understand and cuts my hair perfectly everytime.
Recommended for those with Oriental hair
