Review of Centre Island from 25 November 2008

This island is the largest of the Toronto Islands and has an excellent view of Lake Ontario. Riding the ferry to this island is considerably cheap and it takes about 15 minutes or so. The last ferry to leave is at midnight, so remember to leave before then! There are a number of residents living at the island too.

Walking around the island is a nice getaway from the city to breathe fresh air. The paths are paved and you can rent bicycles to ride for the day. They have a small amusement park which caters to young children called Centreville, but it may be a bit old in decor and boring for older kids.
