A cosy traditional country pub with log fire, mmmm nice and warm. They sell a range of real Ales & Lagers and do a nice fresh juice as well.
We went to the Grayhound one evening and saw someone was having a meal so decided to order as well. The barman said that it was past their time for food orders but not to worry he would do it anyway.
The food was nice, it was cooked on the premises which is good these days. I had a really nice pudding as well, unusual for me as I usually only go for the savoury.
This place is one of those dark places with pictures etc on the walls. It is very comfortable and you can choose from bar, bench or chair seating.
My OH said the most important factor is they sell “abbot and eddie” I have no idea what that is but apparently it is good!
