When i lived in Brick lane, this was the only place to pick up tofu weiners and coconut water, so i’d pop in here at least once a week. Because of my wiener habit i got to know the owner a bit and he slowly achieved legendary status amongst all of us flatmates and will forever be known simply as 'organic man’. Initially appearing shy and even grumpy, we persisted with our jolly greetings and were rewarded with kindness (he once bashfully offered me a free chocolate), inadvertently funny conversation (he asked my flatmate if she’d been 'hiring and firing’) and an amazing selection of jumpers (must be seen to be believed).
Aside from the man himself, they have an impressive range of foodstuffs which sadly the health food shop near us now cannot come close to, and there are always some bizarre hypnotic beats on in the background.
