Dear Sir or Madam, I am disappointed to read your review about when you came in store. You are right, we dont have the Kennedy sofa bed in any of our stores and it isnt one we sell very often so i do apologise if you feel the staff weren’t up to speed with all the answers. I have undertaken some training on this specific product now so hopefully they all know alot more. As you were advised, the factory were closed throughout August so again finding out the answers was difficult for the sales consultant – normally we would just call and have the answer right away for you. We always strive to give the best possible experience and i am sorry this wasnt the case. Our best endeavours remain at all times.

We had been searching for some time for a small high quality leather sofa to go in our new cottage. We found Darlings of Crelsea on the internet and were impressed by the wide choice. We visited the Midlands showroom to check quality and colours whish were very satisfactory so we ordered . Everything then worked as promised delivery on time and well managed delivery guys were very helpful and took the narrow twisty access in their stride with no grumbles the finished product turned out even better that exprcted and we are VERY pleased

Hi, excellent choice of furniture, quality LEATHER sofas and great prices. As a first time buyer the 0% finance option helped tremendously. The sofa I ordered wasnt available to view beforehand, but I wasnt disappointed. Id give 10/10 for product, service and even delivery. thank you

We were looking for a sofa bed with a particular mechanism, and Darlings of Chelsea had the best selection in styles we liked. People at the shop were helpful, and discussed the various options available to fit our requirements in terms of size, and we ended up with an option not available online. Had some difficulty getting in touch for a follow up query, but the online chat function proved great in that regard, and we had the back lowered so it would fit in our narrow doors. Delivery was very professional, and very happy with the final sofa!

We were looking for a comfy corner sofa that would make our lounge look fabulous and feel great. As soon as we tried the ones at darlings of Chelsea a few sofas met our criteria. We are extremely happy with it. Looks great and everyone has commented what great taste we have! Would def recommend DoC to everyone.

Looking for a good leather sofa was becoming a pain until someone said try Darlings. I'm so glad I did! Looked at their range online, found the Sofa bed section, found the style I wanted. The website is very easy to get around. Ordering also was easy, they sent swatches of the leathers I wanted as online pictures are nothing like actually seeing it in the hand. Phoned them back to make my choice and that was that. You could not ask for nicer easier service that puts your mind at rest. Delivery, they called, made the date and time. They were there on the dot! 3 men came, with the sofa, that was very well packaged. They were very courteous and took great care bringing the sofa in, and placing it where I wanted. Unwrapped the Sofa showed me how to use the Sofa bed mechanism, which is very well built so no worries there. Took all the packaging away, you would not know they had been. All in all a brilliant service from first call to the lovely email a few days later asking if i was still happy with the Sofa. I would recommend with 100% certainty.
My only gripe is that now i have been using it, it's far too comfy and i don't get things done!

Went to branch near birmingham with wife and son, very friendly one to one service and well informed suggestions given. Chose our chesterfield to our specifications
Showroom was well laid out and good range offered.
Delivery was as promised and a courtesy call a week before delivery. Staff were on time as was the new sofa
All in all a very impressive service and we will be back for lounge two!
Thanks Carly for delivering this sofa before my wife delivers our second child. You stuck to your word and that means a lot!!!

We are thrillled with our new chesterfield sofa. The service from John and the team was top notch and the sofa was great value compared to others out there. It arrived in the predicted time frame and the delivery company (Edmunsons I think!) were the friendliest we have ever experienced, good to see your suppliers are as good at customer service as you guys are.

Visited the store in Fulham last week as I was interested in the Kennedy sofa bed. I have limited space in a 2nd bedroom so wanted to measure and try it out. Apparently there is not one sample in the whole of the country and the staff there didn't know anything about the sofa, hadn't even seen it and basically read the description off the internet. We even had to point out some of the elements that the description gave that the girl was disputing. They didn't even get off their chairs and seemed incredibly disinterested in offering to find the information or make a sale, the factory were on holiday for August so I would have to wait to find out more information about the measurements and mechanisim. Good thing I didn't visit at the end of July..!
I had to ask for an email address in the end to send them my questions as they didn't seem forthcoming in taking my details. Clearly have enough sales and don't need any more...
It grated me so much that even though I think this will be the perfect sofa bed for my space and was willing to order and drop over £2k with them, then and there I've been put off and am starting my search again. I've worked in customer services for years and am always hugely disappointed when companies don't try to make an effort with their customers, thinking that the product will simply sell itself. Sorry Chelseas's know your products and if you don't, you should go to the ends of the world to find out more about them for a customer.

I was drawn to Darlings of Chelsea by my very specific demand to have a truly geneuine leather sofa. In fact I got delivery of the 3 seater sofa 2 weeks ahead of the expected turn around time.
So far I can say the leather looks genuine, feels very comfortable. I hope it will last me a couple of years. Its nice to go home after a busy day in the office - to a nice and presentable lounge. By Xmas time I hope to buy the second piece of my lounge sofa set.

I found Darlings of Chelsea on the internet because I was looking for well built, elegant leather sofa and their catalogue was full of them.
I selected the style I liked most on their website and then visited the Fulham branch to see it and sit on it in real life, and also to choose the best colour.
The staff were friendly but not overbearing, there was a substantial range of furniture and samples to peruse and when I had questions they were answered courteously.
The sofa was delivered when expected and the delivery men were also friendly and patient, going the extra mile to get the furniture into the house and in the correct place.
We've had the sofa for about a month now and we are very pleased with it. The materials are excellent and it is very comfortable.

Where to start in describing my experience with the Darlings of Chelsea…
After my husband and I had spent countless weekends driving around Surrey and Berkshire we decided that going into London was the only way we were going to find exactly what we were looking for. Amongst a few stores around Knightsbridge and Chelsea we eventually stopped at the Darlings of Chelsea store.
We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The lady that assisted us (Maya) was extremely knowledgeable about the various coverings and we eventually found the shade of leather to match the other furniture we already have.
Darlings probably wasn’t the cheapest option for us but we were more interested in a store that could provide us professional advice and understand what we are looking for, which I guess, is why they are in Chelsea and not a retail park.
We would thoroughly recommend them to people looking for quality and customer service. Maya was fantastic and we have subsequently asked her to provide advice in the interior design for our extension.

I’m absolutely delighted with my new sofa. It’s classy, comfortable and looks fabulous! I spent quite some time trying out different sofas and chairs, and matching fabrics to the rest of my interiors which the lady in the store helped me with. Being able to get a specified delivery slot was a bonus and overall the whole experience was a breeze.

A great piece of furniture. Delivery men were amazing, took off my door as it didnt go in first time and nothing was too much trouble.....a world class service from start to finish and a high quality sofa and chair.

Sofa looks the nuts - much cheaper than equivalents in John Lewis we looked at. Bit harsh from mackq I think. Most sofa retailers seem to have sales on throughout hte year but if I feel like I'm getting good value I don't really care!

Very disappointed at the credibility of Darlings Of Chelsea. After price comparing Fama product I have found that they have increased there retail price to give a fake discount of 41% as a keen shopper I know that I will not shop with this company and advise other shopper to watch out for fake discounts……. The internet is a wonderful way to price compare. It is hard when a company changes a name of a product and marks it up nearly 50% to mark it down 41%! I only find it fare to leave a very bad review…. I have not contacted trading standards as of yet!
