I have been going to SACO for years now and every time i leave with a smile on my face. they know how to make a person look their best, and they are all clearly experts at their jobs! I would highly recommend SACO to anyone, it is the only place where i feel that i can get a high quality hair cut at a decent price. The staff are all lovely, and you get    a m a z i n g    head massages there too! THE best place in soho to go.

I can’t believe what they’ve done to my hair. I came home crying and my mum started shouting at me for allowing them to do it.

I asked for an a-line cut. I was given a square shaped beatles cut. I look like a boy from the back apparently (probably from the front too). I specifically said no fringe but the man insisted. I again said that I didn’t want one as I had been growing it out for so long. He said ok. Then, just before I left he snipped a fringe in.

I feel so violated. Don’t go here. It took 4 hours for the most hideous hair cut ever. I resorted to cutting it myself until my hairdresser comes back from holiday. I wasn’t offered a drink or anything. The trainee hairdresser also kept tugging at my piercings after telling him they were new. The were also running 45mins late.

SUMMARY: If you go here you don’t have a say in what you want. They’re just trying to train up their trainees to learn the needed cuts so they’ll cut it how they want.

After being approached and asked to take part in a demo for other stylists I had my hair cut at SACO. I really wish I had never agreed. They stylist lied about what cut he was going to perform and stated he would only cut my hair to chin length. He actually shaved one side and cut both sides so they fell mid way past my ear. I was mortified, even more so for being lied to. I will never venture anywhere near this salon again.

  • KATELIN, 6 May 2012:

This sort of disdainful, arrogant attitude towards the needs of customer’s, is all too prevalent in hair salons.
Some seem to glean perverted pleasure from deliberately NOT giving you what you requested & seem to LIKE the fact that you’re vulnerable.

As if they ‘get off’ on having the power to make or break the quality of your life for months on end with a few evil scissor hacks.

Last week a sneering ‘hairdresser’, cut my cheek-bone level fringe 2 inches over my eyebrows,
AFTER I’d politely, 100% clearly & DISTINCTLY said that I was GROWING the front & did NOT want it cut, – just level out the BACK. Thank you!

He claimed I was in good hands & to relax….So I did…. BIG MISTAKE!…. NEVER RELAX with an unknown stylist! NEVER!!!

He went for the chop SO FAST that I’d NO TIME to stop him, – & I just could NOT believe he’d be so disrespectful as to go against a clients wishes!

(No matter HOW many times it’s happened to me, I CAN NEVER prepare for the SHOCK of the betrayal of trust between stylist & client.)

He sneered “Hair grows back!” –
WHAT a W****R! It will be at least a YEAR of living with this BUTCHERY on my previously growing out hair.
AND HE CUT THE BACK WONKY!

I’m utterly SICK of hairdressers who just DON’T care & abuse the trust given to them by clients.
    It’s legalised assault.

If ANYONE KNOWS A HAIRDRESSER WHO CAN CUT A STYLISH PRECISION BOBPLEEEEEEEEEEASE LET ME KNOW.
    Thank you

I’m all out of hair & money to sacrifice at what are no more than legalised assault & fleecing centres of trauma – otherwise known as ‘hair-salons’.

Great hairdressers. Had my hair cut as a model the first time I went after being asked by a woman from the salon. Although it was cut by a trainee, she was very well supervised and I wasn’t at all nervous. In fact, the supervisor made sure the haircut suited my face, made suggestions and demonstrated. Then, when he saw that the trainee had cut one side better than his side, he wasn’t too big-headed to say it. I was impressed with the quality of the haircut and have been back since. The way they cut paid attention to what suited my features, and was easy to maintain.
