For several years I have been visiting Shamsudeens. The owners have a great little neighbourhood resturant here. Not your typical curry house fare. Less oil, plenty of vegetarian choices, but also lamb, chicken and fish in abundance.
Friendly considerate service. Does not really cater to the after-pub drunks which is a good thing. Reasonable prices, go here any night of the week for a break from cooking at home. Delivery too.
End of lease coming up and the owners are negotiating with the landlord. Let’s hope that there is a successful outcome so that this little treasure stays in Stoke Newington.
