People it's a money making SCAM!!!New ID Studios are officially on my unethical,dishonest,scammer list!!

I bought a 'hair-styling,makeover & photoshoot' voucher yesterday from a guy called Ron in Harrow. His pitch was you get your nails done,hair for free...etc and you get 2 free prints. No obligation to buy more for £60. He spend 30 mins convincing me and went down to £30 then finally to £20. I asked him you sure I get 2 free prints.I bought it for £20.He looked honest and genuine and said yes of course you do. I called 08448008884 to book an appointment.The guy sounded African. He was nice at first.So I asked him if its true i will get 2 free prints as Ron said. He said no, if it's not in the voucher they can't do it. I was furious at this point.I told him it's not okay to lie to clients to get them to buy the voucher.He kept ignoring me and started talking about something else. He obviously knew.He couldn't give a  toss really about his colleague lying. He said it will not hold in any court as the voucher does not say that. Half of the time he wasn't hearing me nor did he even apologize for Ron's sales pitch.I asked him what the refund policy is,he kept ignoring me.Then finally said go and find Ron on the streets and tell him that.

I am in shock this is happening in UK. In 2013!!!This was a waste of my money and the worst customer service ever.They just don't give a toss about people's feelings. Very unethical sales pitch. A scam to lore women to buy their rather expensive photos.Ladies if u get approached please read the voucher thoroughly before paying for anything.what a load rubbish this company is.Scam scam scam!!!Stay away!!ignore the sales persons on the streets!!!The worst thing is the people who work for this dumb company actually think it's okay to lie to people.What is this world coming to??!!Donno how these people can sleep at night knowing they've just done a disservice to another human being.

New ID studio is a scam - definitely avoid it. 

I went there for a photoshoot and the fee on the website was 20 pounds - But they charged me 
another 60-80 pounds to develop the photo. I was in a rush and so I paid. I called the customer 
service to return the photo and refund - they didn't even bother to accept my request. 

I am also happy to award ten out of ten for this salon; I had the most amazing makeover with New ID and like many that say there is a lot of time where you are not really doing anything I didn’t find that at all. while I was there it was all very organized and I was in and out in just over two hours. I thought the salon staff were all really on the ball. I was really impressed by the team work and I was pretty much doing something the whole time I was there. I got a hit of nerves just before the shoot was due to start. This had nothing to do with how I looked because I was stunned by both the hair and the makeup. I am not normally shy in front of a camera so my reaction to the going into the shoot room came as a bit of a surprise to me. The staff were great and before we started shooting I had time to get to know the photographer who showed me the equipment and the different backgrounds and then we started off with some really easy positions and she sort of eased me into it. I was really impressed with her camera side manor. I would highly recommend anybody to go to New ID. The day I was there there was also a young couple, a couple in their 70’s and a couple of other women alone like me. This experience is good fun, good value and good for all ages.

This venue gets ten out of ten from me. I had the most amazing haircut, makeup and photoshoot and I just got the prints through yesterday and I can’t stop looking at them. I had every intention of getting one of the New ID frames but the shots were so good I went without that to spend more money on the pictures. I think the way they have captured the essence of who I am is amazing and I am really enjoying my new and far more up to date hairstyle and my new found makeup application skills. New ID did the world for my ego and not only did it give me a glimpse of how great I can look its really given me some inspiration to make a bigger effort with myself on a daily basis. I think this is the best fifty pounds I have ever spent and would advice any woman of any age, or man for that matter who has let themselves go a bit to get in there and find out how totally awesome you can look by making a few changes and having a really great haircut! Totally impressed, would not change any of it and would certainly go again!

Like the last person to do a review on this New ID Makeover experience I have also been twice and had such an amazing time both times. I went the second time because even though the first lot of pictures were totally amazing it prompted me to lose some weight and I wanted to have some pictures of me looking even better than I did the first time. I did not have myself down as very photogenic but the photos the first and even more so the second time astounded me. I was amazed at how creative they were with light and the poses that were so flattering. Of course having wonderful hair and makeup was great as well and they certainly know how to highlight your best features! I took three outfits both times, all evening wear, a little black number, a little red number and a silver number only the second time they were two sizes smaller. I was made to feel really welcome both times. I had champagne the first time and Bucks Fizz the second, that was a really nice touch and made it feel all the more special. Not all of the staff were the same both times but they were all really lovely. I think New ID is great for getting some great shots of yourself to frame and put in your house and it is also very good for a confidence boost. Good priced makeovers, prints are not cheap but very definitely worth it.

Once again on my second visit to New ID I had a really successful makeover. I took the cheapest one the first time I went that did not include a haircut. At the time I went I had just had a haircut so did not need one and thought it was a great way to save twenty five pounds! I had a really bad cut at a new salon that had just opened and had been recommended to me and did not trust them to do it again even though they did offer to do it for free. So this time around I paid fifty pounds for my makeover that did include a haircut and I am pleased to say not only did they fix the mess that the other people made I ended up with a totally new style that I really love. The makeup was far too heavy for me really. I have to admit that it did look really great in the shots but it was nothing that I would wear out. I had the same thing the first time so that was pretty much expected. The shoot, like last time was amazing but this time I was two stone lighter after seeing how much weight I needed to lose in the last lot of shots. New ID is staffed by a lovely team of people and twice I have really loved being there.

The New ID makeover experience is really lovely, I had not anticipated how good the photos were going to be and was literally in tears that I could not buy all of them, I am not sure that the viewing assistant knew where to put himself, or what to do with me, I was really overcome with emotion and have never ever seen myself looking so amazing. As the pictures start at 50 pounds I was not able to buy very many but the ones that I have got I am thrilled with. I don’t know how the make you looks so amazing, I guess it is clever use of makeup and studio lights because I know I do not look that good in person. It has given me some inspiration to use makeup a bit more and the lady that put my makeup on for me gave me some great advice that I continue to use. I would like to point out some of the down sides to this makeover as its always nice to have a good balance but I really did enjoy all of it. I will go back again to get my hair cut next time as they did such a lovely job of it and I think I will buy some New ID cosmetics as the ones that I have already run out. I enjoyed all of the day and am very glad that I  chose New ID for my makeover. It is very easy to book online as well.

I found New ID to be a really magical experience. I actually thought it was a bit cheesy of whoever wrote the New ID webpage to say that it was some kind or miracle. Actually as it turns out it was some kind of miracle. I thought I was an unattractive middle aged woman that would never look incredible in pictures but New ID proved me wrong and produced some amazing shots of me looking better than I ever dared to imagine was possible.
My makeover lasted three and a half hours and I enjoyed every second of it. It was fun, it was comfortable, it was exciting, it was thrilling and I just loved all of the pampering.

A mention for the staff is very much needed, what a dedicated team, I got along really well with all of them and they all had a part to play and all played it to perfection. Each member of staff made me feel extra special and for only fifty pounds feeling special and looking amazing never came so cheap.

If you have a spare fifty pounds then ladies spend it on this experience. If you want to buy prints at the end of it or images on a CD then you are going to need quite a lot more than that. So check out the New ID site and make sure you know the pictures costs first, other than that get on in there, its great!

If you want to make having a makeover really affordable then do what I did and get yourself onto the New ID website and click the link that takes you through to last minute deals. If you are not stuck to going on a specific way then this is a great way to half the price of your makeover. Some of the deals on there are up to eight days away so you still have time to use the other great money saver that New ID do and that is by putting down the money you want to spend on the shots before you go and then New ID match that amount so for me it was half price for the deal and half price for the shots and that put it right in my price bracket. I had a totally awesome time at New ID and going on the last minute save thing did not seem to make any difference to the way that I was treated and everybody was having a great time. The studio was a bit packed out and there was quite a good proportion of the time were I was sitting waiting for the next bit and not actually doing anything so I was glad that I had taken along a book to read but it was never boring and there as always something to look at. Very hard to chose from the amazing pictures I would have loved to have been able to buy more of them. The four that I did buy along with the free one I got with my deal are now winging their way to me and should be arriving in the next few weeks!

I just had a great makeover in Glasgow. I was visiting my friend up there and as a surprise she treated us to some vouchers. I had no idea we were going so had not really got anything with me to wear so I had to raid her wardrobe. I had a great time. We had our hair dry styled and some really nice makeup put on and with our best foot forward we went and had loads of photos taken in a really cool room that had heaps going on in it. The walls had all different backgrounds and they had different ones again on screens. I had no idea it was going to be like that or that there would be so many varied pictures to choose from. I don’t know what I was expecting but it was a big surprise to find out that it was as great as that. The only problem is with multiple backgrounds and four different outfits to have our pictures taken there were just way too many to chose from and I spent ages trying to figure out which ones to get on my ‘five medium sized ones’ budget but with a lot of help from the viewing assistant I got there in the end. I did not feel rushed or pushed it was all done very nicely and I would love to go again.

I just enjoyed a really great makeup lesson with my friend at New ID and it was just as much fun, well maybe not quite as much, but almost as much fun as having the full makeover. When I had my makeover I felt like I had learned quite a lot about doing makeup and I brought quite a few of the products that they used that day and then later on I brought the rest of the ones the used that day online. I had the chart that they gave to me to show me how to put the makeup on but I just couldn’t get it quite right so I decided that I would go and get the makeup lesson and I loved every second of it and learnt more than I ever imagined that I would learn it was really fantastic. The girl that was teaching me was really patient with me as I had a million and one questions for her but she was more than happy to answer all of them for me. She did a great job of explain how to take care of my skin and how to make the best of my eyes and cheek bones and told me why things are meant to go where they go in a way that it was really easy to understand. In the makeup lesson they don’t plaster it on the way they do for the camera when you are having a makeover so it gives you a much better idea about how great you can look. New ID in London is great, it is such an exciting place to be. I could hardly wait to get started when I got in there. When I got there at 10am there were already a lot of people in there and they were all looking amazing. It gave me butterflies. I found New ID just by doing a search on google and loved their website as soon as I saw the little videos on there. It was just as I expected it to be and the makeup job they did on me was really amazing. I didn’t ever want to take it off and it still looked great about eight hours later when I met up with some friends to tell them all about it and they all loved my hair. Three of them are going there for a haircut next week and the other two have already booked in for a makeover. I think the others would too but the only down side of course is the cost of the prints or the images on the CD. We are all students so cannot really afford to buy a lot of shots when you consider that the big ones are two hundred and fifty pounds each. They do have smaller ones but you don’t want to do all that and then not have a big one. I borrowed some money so I could get two and I loved them and I makes me well up with pride when I see them as well. I was in the salon for just over three hours and loved every second of it and now I want to retrain to be a makeup artist! New ID is great.

 I think New ID do really good makeovers. I like that you get a consultation where you literally get the chance to sit down and get some fashion advice. Talk to a professional about what kind of makeup suits you and what sort of a hair style would make you look more attractive. I was not expecting it to be that thorough or professional. I just thought you would rock up, get a haircut have some makeup put on and get your pictures taken. It was far far better than I had anticipated.

The only thing that was disappointed in was that it takes forever for them to send you your prints and if they found a way that they could give them to you on the day it would be great and it would be better if you could buy them later on as well. I did not have the money to buy all of the shots I wanted and if there had been a way I could buy them later on in the year I would have done. There are credit facilities but I don’t like getting things on credit.

The makeup and hair I had done at New ID was really good and the pictures were astonishing. I would recommend anybody to go and have a makeover here. It is good fun, professionally done and even though the prints are expensive the makeover deals are fabulously cheap. Very glad I went.

I had a bangingly great time at New ID, it knocked my socks of and now I am saving like mad so I can go again and the next time I am going to go with two of my mates who have not been able to take their eyes off my photos since I had them delivered last week. I never expected to look as well hot as I did at New ID those folks in there really know how to whip it up and make you look super cool and well fit as well. I took some right nice outfits along with me and they got them looking amazing just amazing in the shots. I was a bit worried about how great I could poze going into the photo studio but I was so cool in there and the bloke that did the shots was well cool and showed me what to do the one time and that was it, I was off feeling like a proper model. It as wicked.

Its not really very cheap to buy the pictures like it is to buy the voucher for the makeover in the first place but they are well worth the price when you think about it and I want some more pictures for sure. I want to lose a bit of weight before I got back. this time I went to the branch in Birmingham but next time I am going in London with my friends. I will come back on and tell if that branch is as good as the other, it might even be better.

The New ID makeup is well good as well so I think I will be buying some more of that next time round. New ID gets one hundred percent from me l loved it big time!

Super, amazing, wonderful, inspiring, fun, interesting, rewarding – these are a few of the words that I have been using to describe New ID recently, since I had the most amazing makeover with them last week. There was so much more to this deal than met the eye and even though I thought their website gave a really good insight into how great this experience was going to be it was sadly lacking when it came to describing the atmosphere in the salon, the feeling of elation you get when you see yourself looking as good as you can look in the viewing session where you try in vain to work out what shots you want to see in print and which ones that you are happy to leave behind and it certainly in no way describes how incredible you feel when you realize your potential that perhaps you have forgotten about. The cosmetics are more than worth a mention. It is not all about tricks of the trade I have discovered since I brought just about every product they used on my face that day. They gave me a very useful little chart that told me what they put where and I have been following it with the exact same cosmetics that I brought on the day and have been enjoying great success in recreating the look that they did for me. I loved having my pictures taken, that was quiet unexpected for me and I am loving the confidence this experience has given me and would recommend it to anybody thinking of going.  

I have really enjoyed reading about all of the experiences women have had at New ID over the last eighteen months. I have been reading and watching these pages for that long because that is how long it has taken me to save up enough money to confidently go and have my own makeover and photoshoot and know that I have got enough money to buy the pictures that I want to buy. I have read a couple of heartbreaking reviews from women who have waited to have makeover, loved it when they were there and then not been able to take all of the pictures that they wanted.
I was not going to let that happen to me and when I first found out about New ID I got online and thought right, this is how much the pictures are going to cost, this is how many I am going to want, and this is how much I have to save before I go and if I get the role over deal then so much the better.
It was hard to save up for all that time when all I wanted to do was get in there and have my turn, but reading all about the great experiences on here has been fantastic, when my moment finally came it was so worth the wait and I got a great deal of satisfaction out of knowing I could buy the pictures that I wanted.
Like ninety nine percent of other people on here I had a great time and the staff at New ID did a stunning job of both my hair and my makeup it was awesome, I felt like a gorgeous woman for the first time in a very long time, they make you feel so great and treat you so well, this really is a treat that you will remember for a very long time if not forever, I really cant thank the New ID team enough for breathing life back into my old bones, I felt like I was walking on air when I came out and now I am going to save up again and try to go back every two years, it gives you something really amazing to look forwards to.

I really liked New ID when I was there for my makeover. I didn’t know they existed until a friend said that she had been there at the weekend and I found them on line and thought it was a fantastic concept. After digging around the internet and finding some very favorable reviews for them I thought I treat myself so I ordered a voucher for the Deluxe makeover and it came two days later in the post. The friend that had already been there suggested that I take a weekday appointment as she spent six hours in the salon and for a  lot of that time she was not having anything done. The lady had told her it was always like that at the weekend so I went on a Wednesday.

I was impressed with all of the staff but most of all I was impressed with the cosmetics. The New ID home brand is incredibly affordable. I am a bit of a cosmetic connoisseur, and have used several well known but rather expensive brands over the years and I think that New ID cosmetics rival all of them but at a fraction of the price. As soon as they started to apply my makeup I was impressed, I came away with everything they used on the day and I have since ordered more in the internet.

The photoshoot was fantastic. I had no idea what to expect. The photographer had a lovely way with him and got some amazing shots that I had a very hard time choosing between. I would like to recommend New ID to anybody that would like a new experience, would like to treat themselves or fancies some superb shots of themselves looking top dollar!

Plus Points All of the New ID member of staff were really friendly and great fun. I thought they were also very talented and very professional I loved all of the treatment I had and was most impressed by the hair cut that was very imaginative and works very well for me. This is the first time that I have had a haircut and been able to get it to look the way that it looked when the hairdresser did it! I really love my new cut. I thought the studio where the photos were taken were just amazing, I loved how they crammed so much in there and how all of the pictures had something different about them. It sort of made it hard and easy to chose at the same time. Not so great points! The only real down side for me was that it takes the pictures weeks to get to you. It would be quite nice if the pictures were not so expensive but I think the prices are comparable with other companies and they are a lot cheaper than the ones you can get from the professional photographer that I talked to and got a quote off before I decided to use New ID. General Comments I loved how everything was explained to you and there was plenty of opportunities to ask questions and that was especially true during the makeup session. I enjoyed that bit the most because that was the part that I learnt the most from. I also thought the salon was lovely and it was also very clean. I like places to be clean. I am one of those people that won’t eat in a restaurant until I have had a look at the toilets! In summary I was very impressed with New ID and I think despite what I have read elsewhere they represent very good value for money

I had a lovely Makeover at New ID. I had never been before and had no real expectations about what it was going to be like, but I loved it. I had no particular plan about how I wanted to look when I got in there. I just found the deal online and thought it would be a fun thing to go and try out. I was allowed to take up to four outfits but as it was a sort of last minute decision to go I only took two. Looking back I wish I had taken more as I did not get that long in the photo shoot which was the best bit about the day. The pampering –getting my hair done and the makeup was lovely, but I think that the photoshoot is totally the highlight of the day. I was quite impressed with how creative the photographer was, especially as he had a pretty small studio to work from. Having said that there were lots of props to have the shots taken with and a lot of interesting backgrounds and considering the small space I was quite amazed how varied the shots were and how many different ones there were to chose from and this takes me to the only downside. Once you have had your shots taken you have to wait ages to see them and prepare yourself for the fact it is going to be really hard to choose! I ended up buying way more than I wanted but thankfully I stuck to the smaller prints because I loved the little scene album they had that holds thirteen images. It has a wooden lid that converts to a frame so you can switch the images around, it’s amazing.  

New ID – wow, I had no idea how good the makeover was going to be that they did for me. It was really terrific and the prints that they sent to me are amazing.  

I think that this is a really good value deal. Despite the price of the prints, which is pretty much well documented but for the record they start at fifty pounds each and go all the way up to two hundred and fifty pounds, that sounds like a fortune when you consider it is one print. But you get so much as part of the deal. I pay eighty pounds for a haircut so the fifty pounds that I spend on the makeover, that included a haircut, that was every bit as good as other haircuts I have had made it more than worthwhile. I love art and have spent more than that in the past on a piece of art and that is not even to mention that fact that you get a free shot, the deal includes free drinks, the shoot and of course makeup and the invaluable advice you get from both the hair stylist, the makeup artist and of course the consultant who gave me loads of advice on different shaped clothing to wear to make the most of my figure. I have read a lot of reviews slating the price of the prints here but if you ask me I would say it represents fine value for money.
