Review of Porta Dextra Gallery from 27 November 2008

Porta Dextra is a wonderful little gift shop in the shadow of York city walls. Set behind an always enticing window display, there is plenty more to catch the eye (and the credit card) inside. It sells a number of handmade gift ranges from very talented artists ranging from classic to quirky and to suit all budgets.

There is a good range of glassware, cards and jewellery. If I could, I would buy all of their cufflinks! The staff are always cheery and helpful. The shop welcomes browsers.

If you’re in the Minster area, why not take a wander up? You won’t regret it!
