Gill Wing Cook Shop

This small shop is a delightful place to browse for all sorts of kitchen knick-knacks. When I first entered the shop, I couldn’t believe how much stuff was crammed into a relatively small space. Floor to ceiling, it was brimming with stock.
I have a reasonably well equipped kitchen, but as any cook/baker will know, you can never have enough kitchen equppiment. There is a lot to find here that will be a valuable addition to your kitchen, from good quality knives and pans, cutlery, crockery to glassware. My favourite part of the shop is the back, which is full of all sorts of baking moulds, cases, pans, novelty cookie cutters, decorative tins and jars, as well as cookbooks. I could happily spend hours here, browsing through all the stock. The staff are reasonably knowledgable and will be able to answer any queries you might have.
I found the prices to be reasonable compared to other stores. You’ll be able to find a lot of items not on offer in large stores like John Lewis.
