Czech & Speake

Fifteen years ago I remodeled my kitchen.  I purchased two Czech & Speake Sink Mixers ( Faucets) with the goose necks.  Over time they became badly pitted.  Little rust holes formed and water leaked out from the holes on the neck.  I notified Czech & Speake of the issue and they would not stand behind their product.  It cost $105 each to have them recromed.  At first I thought these were Water Works faucets.  I called them and they said that if it were theirs they would replace them  When I found the receipt they were not Water Works.  There is no reason these "high end" fixtures should deteriorate so quickly.  I will not purchase  Czech & Speake fixtures again in the future. Spend the extra money and buy Water Works products.

It’s a real pleasure to step over the threshold into deliciously fragrant Czech & Speake. I’ve long-loved their warm, rich Frankincense & Myrrh fragrance range which sets the scene perfectly for happy winter memories. Cuba is enticingly spicy; if your preference is for something lighter, fresher or citrussy you’re likely to enjoy Citrus Paradisi (grapefruit dominated) or Neroli.

The store is about much more than scents; their bathroom and kitchen fittings and accessories are highly desirable. Although, realistically, for most of us a little out-of-reach - unless you want to splash out around £600 for the ultimate porcelain and chrome tap mixer set.

However, don’t let the more serious prices put you off visiting this stylish shop. Staff here are welcoming, enthusiastic and helpful, happy to let you browse, sample the fragrance ranges and enjoy the traditional sensory experience. Recommended for beautifully packaged scented gifts with a unisex appeal.
