Trading Post has a very good reputation and is popular within the area. Since working there I've learnt a lot about the staff and the customers.

Its a friendly staffed shop with almost everything in - no one can go wrong shopping at TP. If there is nothing in stock of which you were looking for we'll give you ideas of other shops (in the local area) of which you can get whatever you need.

Pricing varies, downstairs and upstairs. Upstairs has outdoor clothing and some camping with some ex army wear. Downstairs has the majority of our camping stock along with Gardening tools, kitchen tools, DIY tools and electric tools.

Overall it's worth popping in to look or to buy.

Two floors of interesting stuff from union jack flip flops outside to serious camping gear upstairs. Stuff you’ve not seen for years and stuff you didn’t know existed. Lovely old fashioned feel - always worth a browse

I’ve always loved this little shop, situated opposite the Italian Way restaurant on Castle Street. Ever since I was a small child, I’ve enjoyed looking through the odd assortment of novelty plastic toys, and camping equipment. You can’t find a better shop for getting freeze-dried apple crumble in a sachet! The staff here are friendly, with loads of local knowledge, so if you need advice or directions, stop in here and you’ll get the help you need. The prices range from great value to a bit dear (especially for the camping equipment in my opinion) but on the whole it’s very competitive.
