I wasn’t expecting much from Kombüse. My experience of Mexican restaurants in Hamburg has been fairly mediocre so far. But the burrito i had last night was one of the best i have ever had (and i’ve spent a bunch of time in California!). Big, filling burritos and friendly service. This is going to be a regular thursday fixture!

Excellent Mexican cafe, definitely the best I've been to in Hamburg! I have no idea if the burrito was authentic or not, but it was bloody tasty, and hugely filling.

The surroundings are very laid back, it's got a cafe feel, but, being in Hamburg, is ship-themed. With port holes and watertight doors, and what-have-you.

Although notionally a fast-food establishment, it's all cooked to order and doesn't arrive at a worrying quick pace, but a slow, relaxed walk. Leaving you to enjoy a beer or two while you wait.

I'll definitely be coming back!

Ah Burritos!

I love the concept. Rice, beans, meat and salsa wrapped in a huge tortilla, yum. The burritos at Kombüse aren't quite like the Californian ones that I'm used to, but it was still darned tasty, and a very fair price (€6.50).
