Best Baguettes this side of Wimbledon!! It’s the only place I feel as though I have actually left England behind me as I walk through the doors. French speaking staff very friendly and welcome my probably very dull combination of ingrediants. I normally go for the Brie & ham yumyum!! They have a combination of full bodied cheeses and child friendly milds. Another place you really must go to for a snack on the go, as there are no chairs… :)

HIGHLY recommend

This place is an institution – delicious, high quality food as only the French can do it – yummy, yummy cheeses – though my favourite is chicken with celeriac salad – unbelievable. … and it’s so cheap for sandwiches too.

Don’t be put off by the review complaining of the bad service. The staff are very French – I only ever order in French, as it is always a smoother service. You’re getting the real deal here, not pastiche French – so they often have problems with your English. Just enjoy feeling like you’ve got the full Parisien experience, including the sometimes surly service. The food is worth it and great value – and in fact, the service is like Paris: usually really good, just watch out for the occasional sting!

The worst service in London as well as the most unfriendly staff imaginable overshadow the good stuff! Horrible!!!!

this deli is the king of delis south of the river. like the first reviewer said it’s a take away only but the baguettes are the perfect accompaniment for a stroll through wimbledon park, 5 minutes walk away.

try get there in the mornings when the baguettes are still hot. the smells from this deli will make you froth at the mouth.

apparently a few Chelsea FC players (Drogba, Essien) visit the shop on occasion such is their rep

yUM YUM YUM!! Family run deli serving very good value for money french loaf sandwiches with your selection of brie salami, emental, tuna mayonnaise, chicken mayonnaise and salds, to name but a few fillings.
The sandwichs are £2-£3.50 each and are delicious and huge, enough to fill teh gap. They also sell other french food and also some pastries are tarts. This deli is a few stores down from the station. If you in needof a snack or lunch pop in here. Their food is freshly prepared and just so nice!!
The shop is small so expect to queque (due to its popularity) akwardly till you are served.
The French staff are very freindly and patient as you try to decide from the multitude of fillinsg which to have.
Do yourslef a favour and stop here one day for a bite to eat.
No sit down dining offered only take away.
