One of the most likely items that one can lose when travelling is your glasses (or sunglasses.) This recently happened to me…my luck! I left my sunglasses somewhere…and after re-tracing my steps, my hunt to recover them was unsuccessful.
However, instead of crying over spilt milk, I decided to treat myself to a new pair--another reason to shop in Paris--not bad!
I asked a friend where she had her optician, and she replied “Optique Juge..close, friendly and a good selection of high quality optical quality lunettes.” I decided to give them a try.
I found the location quite convenient, on the rue des Archives in the Marais. The staff was very attentive and found me a pair of Lacoste sunglasses that were of very high quality. I like them better than the pair that I lost! The price was quite reasonable considering the calibre of the goods. They also gave me a very nice matching storage case and cleaning cloth with their information printed on it.
A great solution to a common problem.
