Enjoyed a fabulous evening at Andrew Edmunds last night. The service was friendly and relaxed. The food and wine was excellent. The ambience is informal and gently romantic with the West End buzz outside. I definately go again. Apparently you have to book in advance, fortunately I had someone do that on my behalf as I barely know what I’m doing tomorrow!

I think it’s well known as a best kept secret.
The food is good, as is the service and atmosphere, but I would consider going elsewhere if you’re going to get stuck downstairs in the basement.

Last night I went to Andrew Edmunds for the first time. It is a small bistro type restaurant tucked away on a side street in Soho. I had never heard of it, it must be one of Soho’s best kept secrets, but my friends managed to get a reservation and I was glad they did, it is such a good find! Some websites say it is the most romantic restaurant in London, which it would be if you were sat on the Ground Floor, however in the basement you sit to close together for it to be romantic! The menu changes daily and has fresh ingredients and some really interesting combinations, so a great place for food- and wine lovers. I would definitely go on a date here or bring a good friend for a catch up. Reserve a week in advance though, it gets booked up quickly!

Went back to Andrew Edmunds last night with friends and had a great time. Menu was fresh, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was so chilled. Put this little place on your chilled date list of places to go. Good for a girls night out too.

Andrew Edmunds is a really cosy restaurant tucked just out of the craziness of Soho. Fab menu that changes daily, good wine list and really lovely feel to the place. Very popular so make sure you book in advance. Perfect for a 2nd date!

Serving high quality food & a small number of covers, means you need to book ahead. But worth putting into the diary. 'Snug' would describe the dining area. Enjoy the likes of monkfish, venison, swordfish or pasta in initmate, some would say romantic, surroundings. Unprententious, efficient service. As to being a well kept secret? Its on one of the busiest streets in Soho!!!

People call it the "best kept secret" but is it really a secret? At least 3 of my friends also say it's their favourite restaurant in London, so at least in my circle it's well known.

It's a small, cosy place with a dining room and bar in the ground floor and further dining downstairs. Always great food, friendly service, a wonderful and well-priced wine list, and not even a little bit pretentious, which is almost unheard of in Soho. Can't recommend it highly enough, really.

Bookings taken up to one week in advance and absolutely essential.
