Over the past decade Home House has established itself as one of the most iconic private members’ club in the world. Spanning three immaculately preserved and restored Grade I and II listed Georgian townhouses on Marylebone’s ultra-swanky Portman Square, Home House provides its members with a comprehensive diet of the finest amenities money can buy. It’s comprised of no less than three unique bars as well as guest bedrooms, drawing rooms, private event rooms, a boutique gym/spa, a courtyard garden, a cigar terrace, a restaurant and a nightclub.
Home House literally caters to everything you desire. Need a personal trainer? Sorted. Want to host a private event for colleagues? Taken care of. Require a long and fantastic evening with beautiful people to wash away the workweek? Duly noted, and provided. Their Club boasts some of the most vibrant and consistently fun evenings in the capital – as well as a space-age, streamlined bar conceived by fêted Iraqi-born architect Zaha Hadid. Otherwise, luxuriate in the decadence of bars worthy of Louis XIV or revel in the greenery of their garden, one of the few in central London.
You can grab a meal in most of the rooms– the gardens and bars have their own menus while the Octagon Dining Room offers Modern European cuisine that would likely garner major accolades if it weren’t in a private members’ club. The wine menu is suitably ample. We can’t sing its praise loudly enough, and we don’t have to. Word of mouth and inclusion in encyclopedias do that for us. For the archetypal British members club experience, look no further than Home House.

Hard to explain if you haven't been there; lots of rooms on lots of floors stuffed with art and nice classical furniture, staffed by very smart people who look you in the eye and call you sir.
So a completely different vibe to Soho House or places like that, in fact it feels a lot more grown up (but without seeming stuffy)
Very nice, I hope I am invited again...

Excellent private member’s club. I’ve practically been living there the last few days while I wait for a plumber to fix my shower. They have everything you need- gym, meeting rooms, restaurant, bar. The staff are extremely attentive and the cocktails are amazing. It gets a little sleazy on the dance floor on a Friday night, but otherwise you can be guaranteed to have a good night.

I've practically moved in to the place over the last few months. great place - chilled and friendly and a fantastic cocktail list! Loadsa variations of bloody mary - one has tequila and another warm sake with wasabi. Strange but try going through the list of all 17 classic cocktails in one sitting. great fun!!!!

I came here for an event recently and well, I've fallen a bit in love with this place. I'm not one for private clubs. I figured once you're in, it's just a very expensive bar and everyone is trying to work out how you can afford the membership. I clearly can't so I feel a bit out of place. But I do enjoy being invited and being spoilt rotten.
The building is stunning. Really beautiful. I wish it was still a house. That would be amazing. Every inch of the space has been put to good use. There's loads of rooms here, so there's loads of little sneaky function places. Clever. I lost count of the amount of bars. I was busy drinking the bubbly and eating the canapes. More of the quail and celeriac things please. Yummy.
There's an outside little terrace for pesky smokers like myself and the staff are friendly. Even when I was lost and tipsy. I stayed here far too late, felt far too hungover the next day and really really want to come back.

Home House is one of London’s most impressive members’ clubs, combining old English elegance with a cool, contemporary edge. The club also features a large garden area, which is great for a drink in the summer.

I'm not a member of Home House, but i have been a couple of times as a guest. The garden and patio area is great and I've always been well looked after by the staff here. If you can get past the "old media folks" stigma, this is actually a great place for a business meeting or a few drinks after work. Plenty of libraries, meeting rooms and balconies overlooking the garden and both times I have come there's been a pretty young (but posh) crowd.
Im told memberships start at £2,000 p/a not really worth it my eyes, but still a great place to come as a guest nonetheless.

Went to Home House last night for a networking event. This is the 4th or 5th time I have been there and I really like it. It is a proper members club but the decor is not too staid and they recently redesigned the House Bar which is nothing short of futuristic and uber cool. There are several meeting rooms and spaces to host events from as small or as large as you like. The garden is also eye-catching.

The renovations are just amazing. Jon Goodair @ the gym is the best personal trainner ever! Check it out - it’s got the lot - rooms, gym, bar, restaurant, meeting places all in a central London location.

Came here for a 'champagne and quality street’ party (strange combination, but it worked very well!) and had an absolutely brilliant evening. Home House has the reputation of a slightly subdued old-ish crowd, but definitely not on this particular night! Lots of young people with a buzzy vibe and great outfits. The rooms here are wonderfully grand, a beautiful central staircase looms graciously over everything, and there’s a real old world neo-classical vibe which is such a fantastic backdrop for a party. Lots of places to explore here, drawing rooms to read in, balconies to sip cocktails on with views over the garden, and just somewhere to get lost and have fun in for hours with the feeling of stepping back in time…

Home House, has become my base in London. It used to be that I would have 7 to 10 business meetings a day in different coffee shops or offices across town. Now I can just invite people for breakfast, a coffee in a nice and pleasant setting.
Not cheap, but what is cheap in London?
