Grab my usual Sunday coffee from this place. 3 out of 5 times the coffee is great. Food well they have to be better organised, service is a bit chaotic…15 mins for scrambled eggs?
The place have potential for sure minus hipsters. :)

Why don’t people have patience to wait for a good coffee? If you decide to go at a busy time then of course two baristi and one machine can only produce a certain amount of coffee in a certain amount of time. Maybe i should stop reading others reviews before I write mine?
Nude is fab, every time I’m in bricklane I’m spoilt for choice with coffee but I always return to bricklane’s original great coffee shop; Nude. And now they have a Roastery just 3 minutes walk away!
I was well impressed that the Barista poured a 4 leaf tulip in my friends soy cappuccino. Bravo nude. Keep it up kids.
Nude left me underwhelmed. Being at the front of a short queue seemed to have no meaning for the staff who spent five minutes ignoring all of us before serving the person behind me.
The coffee is above average, though perhaps not for a specialist coffee bar. Brick Lane Coffee, up near Bethnal Green Road, is much more pleasant, has friendly staff, better music and better coffee.
So I finally made it to Nude Espresso and was not impressed. I walked up to the counter and was ignored for about five minutes while a few orders for other tables were being prepared (and when I say ignored I mean that not one of the three people behind the counter even bothered to say hello).
The espresso I had was ok but not mind blowing. I needed the ladies room and was directed towards what turned out to be rather disgusting loos - smelly and dark due to broken light bulbs not being replaced.
And to top it off, those who suffer from suriphobia will be delighted to know that you will be greeted by a bright green mouse trap when you walk down the spiral staircase that leads to the aforementioned loos. The management might consider finding a less visible location for the trap.
So, the coffee was ok but everything else was second rate. I won't be raring to come back here anytime soon. Too much competition out there to have to put up with awful service and facilities.
My visit here was the most wonderful example of hipster idiocy...
I was having lunch with someone who was in a rush and asked for their coffee in a take-away cup as they were only going to stay for ten minutes and wanted to take the remainder of their coffee back to their office.
'No, we don't do that' said the member of staff taking our order.
'Why?'
Another member of staff (I assume the manager), wearing a London Fields/Nathan Barley uniform with Moscot-style thick rimmed black spectacles stepped in to explain it was ecologically unsound to give us one of the many polysterene cups that were on the counter.
'But if you give us a cup to have here, and then we take a disposable cup for the rest of the coffee, that's even more ecologically unsound.'
The answer. 'We don't do it because... it doesn't look nice.'
Okay. My companion (who, as it happens, was the creative director of Habitat who have their offices around the corner) stared at me, agog. And then laughed.

Love my espresso, and though the signs pointed to a possibly nice coffee, it actually never was the case.. gave it a few chances but the coffee has always been bad, and its taken them forever to serve one... too bad.
Equal best coffee in London with the guys at Monmouth. Nude make a proper flat white, stong and smooth - I'd give them 5 stars, but there can sometimes be quite a wait for coffees, and it's at the top end for pricing.
Try their bananna choc chip muffins - delish!
By the time I arrived at Nude last Sunday morning, I had spent a week with my Roman in-laws walking the streets of London, five abreast, at the pace of a funeral procession made up of lame Temazepam addicts negotiating a spillage of superglue. Hence, my usual breakneck speed had been somewhat subdued and the six or seven-minute wait for our coffees wasn't overly taxing. Truth be told, I would rather wait for such fine coffee than be served an almost instantaneous cup of liquid shite - if you'll pardon the crude vernacular.
The problem that these still limited in supply quality coffee stores seem to have is that they are still so sporadically located around town, they become victims of their own success and end up busier than a hooker in a war zone. Maybe one barista is not adequate, but the end results were exceptionally pleasing to the palate and got the Italian seal of approval.
The breakfast menu looked rather appealing, particularly considering that I’m a sucker for blueberry pancakes; I would, however, be more inclined to come and try that on a weekday when I presume the chances of bagging a table are higher.
Maybe I caught them on an off day...10mins wait for coffee to go, depsite not being overly busy; too much for 1 barista methinks.£2.20 for lukewarm barely-present caffeine. Meh. I noticed brunch includes scambled eggs'n toast at £6; laid by the golden goose perhaps?
i have to say that the coffee is really nice but it was SO busy.
they have quite a lot of seating and then a bench outside but still it was a bit chaotic because of the amount of people.
but the coffee and atmosphere where pleasant and i would go again - but this time i would take out.
the location is honestly brilliant just off brick lane, just up from aldgate east and near the old truman brewery.
I stumbled over this place at my very first trip to London (not so very long ago) when I was considering moving here. Really amazing coffee. Really!! The Latte at Nude Espresso is perfect, strong but too strong. Their sandwiches is pretty good too. And their muffins. Maybe this is the reason why I moved here….
Freaking awesome.
My crush for this place started with the Monmouth coffee, probably the best bean in London. This developed into love when I saw their sandwiches, brownies and realized they have free wifi.
This may be one of the best cafes in East London. The coffee is superb and they do homemade chocolate brownies, muffins and toasties. Its definitely worth trying out, I’m glad I did.
