Loved, loved loved it. I'd read some good reviews on laterooms.com, and thought the location and rates were all dead good, and then we got there on Friday and found we'd been given a free upgrade to the JUNIOR SUITE, yes, that's right, the JUNIOR SUITE, which is the room that's in the brochure and on the website and basically it's lush.
We stayed two nights, and the total bill came to £223 including a very tasty and filling continental breakfast each morning, although we worked out that if we'd just tipped up and booked the junior suite and the same package it'd have been about £580 : )
Really comfy massive bed, freeview on the flatscreen telly, fancy shower and those really tasty biscuits with the tea and coffee. No ironing board and iron though, which I'd expected. But there was wifi in the room and a hairdryer and that so all we really needed.
Helpful and friendly staff, they'll let you have a very useful map (rrp £3.99!) for free if you ask nicely. Just 5 minutes walk from Holborn and Russell Square tube stations, round the corner from the British Museum, and a nice walk from Covent Garden. Will definitely stay here if we come back to London!
