A very nice Thai restaurant walking distance from Victoria train station or Hyde Park Corner tube. The chicken satay, Tom Yum soup and green curry were all excellent and the service was also very good given the restaurant was so full. Expansive wine list (ranging from about 20-500 quid per bottle) and a very tempting dessert menu (i could quite bring myself to do it after such an amazing starter and main!)

HIghly recommended, i will definitely be going back.

Mango Tree is a very elegant Thai restaurant set in Belgravia. It's decor is modern, sleek and refined. The food is excellent but pricey. The Thai Greencurry is one of the best I have ever had, whilst there is lots of option for non-meat eaters too.

Whilst Mango Tree is expensive there are always special offers available for it. Plus tell them its your birthday and you get a free mini birthday cake :-)

Highly recommended if you are looking to take someone who loves Thai out for a special treat.

I had never really seen an upmarket Thai restaurant before I went to Mango Tree. I had always thought of little neighborhood Thai places with plastic tablecloths, sweaty cooks and fantastic cheap food.

Mango Tree is different. It brings the romance of fine dining to the flavours of Thailand, right here in London. As soon as I walked in the door I could see that this was no neighborhood noodle place. The interior is immaculate, and the waiters numerous and impeccibly dressed.

And the food. The food is incredible, the best curry I have eaten, and presented in a creative and colourful way.

My only complaint? The prices. This place is not cheap, but here's the tip: Keep your eye out for special deals. Mango Tree seem to use special deals to keep the restaurant full, because without the common punters in there for a bargain slice of the high life, I think it would be pretty quiet mid week. Their website often advertises the deals on at the moment, and lastminute.com also has set meal deals most of the time.

It's a winner, but only at the right price!
