The King’s Hall is run by the local authority (Canterbury City Council) as a concert hall and general venue for hire for parties, weddings etc. It is quite large but is maintained in good order. The bars are always well staffed and there is rarely a long wait for drinks even when the venue is busy.
There are regular appearances from the likes of cover bands, X factor ex stars, and other regular touring bands, but there are also more interesting events like stag and hen parties, thai boxing and wrestling.
