Not worth the hype!! is getting to be more and more seedy by night, with people coming in from the banlieus to paris, to make trouble at the nightclubs here…
also can be extremely touristy and busy, so you can experience something rather opposite to your idea of strolling down the champs, spending a day in the sun- the shops along this road are not as great as one would expect, either, although there are a fair number of cinemas, and over priced, chi chi restaurants.
I go here for the virgin megastore (huge) the equally large adidas store, and the soixante- six shop, which is AMAZING. it sells all sorts of vintage and new designer wear, at really quite reasonable prices- theres always something new to see there, and the staff are super genial!

Don't miss one of the largest Louis Vuitton one the street and feast your eyes at the luxury cars paraded on the streets and in the shops. You'll be mesmorised by the grandious architecture along this avenue, one end overlooks the Arc de Triomphe and the other is the Palais de l'Élysée.
