It says a lot about the strength of character when somebody can walk past Greggs without nipping in for a sausage roll or a yumyum. This branch, snugly squeezed next to Gap and Next, is almost criminally placed. It’s so tempting, and after an hour of being at the shops, I challenge anyone not to pop in for a bite.
The good thing about Greggs is the good value and the taste. The bad thing is the feeling of guilt afterwards. But then the cheese rolls are amazing as well. And the vegetable slices, and the gingerbread men, and the . . .
