Good value/quality chinese restaurant just a few blocks aways from Earl's Court station. Service is friendly and attentive. Dishes are good and reasonably priced. Great pork and duck dishes.
Casual atmosphere, small place which can get busy at the weekends.

Huberts Chinese restaurant, New Lotus Garden, is a must-go-to if you live or visit Earls Court. One minute from the tube, it is small and comfortable and the service is very definitely personal. I moved away three years ago, but on visiting with friends last week, Hubert greeted me by name as I entered! The food is excellent: the Char Sui (roast pork Chinese style) is mouthwatering, he does proper tasty chinese style vegetables in a range of sauces, and the Lo Hun vegetables (tofu) is a dream. We had a range of dishes including those above and Sea Spice Chicken, a perfectly matched sweet Alsace white wine and a second helping of Char Sui. Totally yummy and very reasonable! Well worth booking ahead on a Friday or Saturday night!

The New Lotus Garden is a small, friendly Chinese restaurant tucked away off the Earl's Court Road.

The menu comprises a familiar, if unadventurous, choice of Pekinese and Cantonese dishes, and a decent wine list. Plenty of vegetarian options. Expect a meal for two with wine to come to about £20-£25 a head. (If you want something more interesting for a similar price, try Addie's Thai Cafe nearby).

A good sign is the regular Chinese clientele eating there. Service is swift and efficient, but as it is so small, you can always get the waiter's attention if you need it!
