Not as good as before in my opinion. Used to be really good. Only worth going for the Roast Duck, Char siu, Crispy Pork but other than that, nothing overly special.

the best roast duck in london!
the queues to get in weekend evenings prove that, and many in the queue are chinese nationals, who should be the best judges!
this restaurant is so popular, it has recently opened a sister restaurant in gerrard street, china town, soho, which has kept up the great reputation.
although all the food is good, the roast meats, ie. duck, roast pork (char siu) and crispy pork are what bring the customers back time and time again!
i should know, i have been enjoying the roast meats at the queensway branch for over 10 years now.
highly recommended…enjoy!

The worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant in my life! We have been served with average quality food (we are from China), and when we finishd our meals and we were still chatting and finishing our drinks, one of the waiters told us to go away because there was a queue!!!! I was very surprised that in a restaurant people are told to leave while they are still finishing their meals!!! Moreover, one of the waiters continued to look at me with threatening eyes, telling me "what are you looking at, why don't you go? there are people waiting". I thought this behaviour was unbelievable so I asked if I could talk to the manager. I went to the manager and I asked if the place is a restaurant or a boxing place where people are kicked out as soon as they finish their meal. The answer was "this is a boxing club!!". At that point I understood that people over there are completely mad and they don't care that customers are overly unsatisfied with the treatment. Thus I advice people not to go there (there re so many other places in the suroundings), as this was the worst experience in a restaurant in my life!

The number of south-east Asian people in a Chinese restaurant is usually a pretty good indicator of the quality. Last time I tried to go to the Four Seasons I couldn't get in because there was an hour long wait to get in. Good sign. This time we were lucky and managed to snag a table almost immediately, despite a substantial line starting to develop.

This place is famous for its roast duck so we immediately ordered that, along with some hot and sour soup, beef with green onions, sizzling prawns, and some fried rice. I ordered a Tsing Tao beer which I was delighted to have delivered to me in a can with one of those old school pull top tabs. Awesome.

The soup came quickly enough and was hot and delicious. The entrees shortly followed and were also absolutely fantastic. Nice fresh vegetables, tender meat, flavorful prawns. The duck took a while and we had to ask where it was but the place was absolutely packed so I can't blame them for taking a little longer to bring their house special.

All I have to say about their duck is this: Stop whatever you're doing, and go. Now. Their duck is like nothing I have ever had before. I'm not sure what they do with it, and frankly I don't care. I'm pretty sure there's some addictive substance or something involved because I just couldn't stop eating it. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy in the middle. Absolutely perfect.

The service was quick and a bit stilted but as I said, they were jam packed. They did well, all things considered.

A truly impressive experience, one which I will be repeating many, many times.

The first chinese restaurant I ate in since I arrived in Uk. I must say it had exceeded my expectations as I thought it would never compare to the ones I had in Malaysia. However, there's usually a long wait and you might have to share your table with others. Not a place for a romantic dinner.

This place has the best duck in London. When I am in this area I will have a meal here. The food is great not only the duck. You can get lots of other chinese dishes too. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is good. The people are friendly and service is good too. Occasionally I go there just to get duck as a takeaway for my family for dinner at home. If you want a good meal head over there and have some duck plus try other dishes too.

The first time I ever came to London, I ate at the Four Seasons restaurant, and ordered the crispy duck with pancakes. I have since never found a chinese restaurant whose duck matches that of the Four Seasons, so I go back whenever I'm in the area!
You can eat in or takeaway - both are busy - but the staff are amazing to watch as they organise both table orders and takeaway dinners.
Everything I've ever tried on the menu is excellent quality, delicious Chinese food. Although these guys are the duck experts, so be sure to try it.

Four Seasons Chinese restaurant on Queensway attracts often long queues of Chinese visitors, expats, local Chinese and other community and Asian students craving for some good “home style” food. The atmosphere in the restaurant is, with large round family tables, lots of buzz, people everywhere, and sort of Hong Kong style. Service is very efficient but everything besides friendly. This really doesnt matter, it makes it feel even more authentic. (at least to me)

Check this out on a Sunday lunch time, before 12.00 and see the mountain high piles of roast duck, char sui pork, crispy pork belly and other roast meats, which are the speciality and reason to go there, piled in the front window.

It is not the place where you take a timid, fragile just got to know her girl on a first date because she will be traumatised, shocked and won’t eat anything, but with a group of experienced foodie friends who have been abroad at least once in a life, a good Sunday lunch experience.
