This is your typical dive bar (although now that you can no longer smoke indoors in Hamburg it's much less of a dive). Nice corner place which tends to get quite full later in the evening. It's a fairly typical crowd for Ottensen and isn't as edgy as you may expect from first impressions. I stop in here every now and again as a friend live right down the street. I've never found the staff to be rude and actually realized a couple times that they remembered me, even though I really am not there often. Don't expect an major bartending creations. This is your typical go-for-a-beer place and I also wouldn't trek from other parts of town specifically for the place. At the same time, you can do much worse in the area.
