I sometimes check out the shoes in Russell & Bromley, and I recently stepped into this store near Harrods to buy a handbag I had seen in the store window.
The staff was shocking; two girls were chatting and doing their best to ignore me. The manager was hovering around the floor, careful to avoid any customer who might require help or service.
The queue at the till was ridiculously long. The store inside was in really bad shape, with shoes all over the floor.
So I left without my bag. More money to me. And it will be a while before I go back in.
