Review of Boulangerie Provençale from 24 December 2008

This boulangerie was the winner of the inaugural “Champion croissant d’Uzes Grand Prix 2005”, a competition where 3 English families tried every Boulangerie in Uzes. It has continued to shine, and remains the best croissant in town. The staff could be friendlier and the selection beyond bread and croissants is limited but still recommended for the croissants alone. Slightly off the beaten track and more for locals than tourists, well worth the walk past the PMU and through the less salubrious parts of town.
