Its a pretty good spot, I wish it wasn’t so out of the way though. I really enjoy just walking around here with a female companion as it takes you back into time. Grabbing a beer here is a pleasure as there’s a great micro-brewery right there. Good food and some pretty cool shops with funky stuff in them. The whole place has a prohibition vibe to it and makes you think you’ll run into Al Capone at any moment.
Great place in the summer and fall. Bring a sweater.
A bit of a hike from public transit and lacking adequate parking, this is still a great place to visit. There are fantastic small shops selling everything from high quality chocolate through ceramics to hand blown glass.
Most of the shops here are filled with helpful people and as a pedestrian only area, it's like walking back in to the past a bit.
Open to the air it is a bit miserable on a wet day but otherwise even in winter this place rocks!
