La Tasca

Really only any good if you can get an offer. Whilst the food is lovely it is expensive – £50 for 8 dishes to share, 2 glasses of sangria and a beer. The service at the Cabot Circus restaurant is variable. Went the other recently and it was fine, went yesterday and it was terrible!

Expensive once you've allowed for how small the dishes are and how many you will need to order. Slow service. Food was cold. One of the dishes was honestly an Asda smart price bread roll with bottled tomato ketchup on top of it. The tables aren't big enough to fit all the dishes on. Spent £40 there for both of us (on soft drinks too) and had to stop off on the way home and get something to eat to fill us up! Rubbish. On a side note the waitress we had was lovely and agreed that it wasn't good value for money!

Overall 4 stars. The food is nice and great when it’s 50% off!!

But a star is knocked off because of the slow service from making out food order to getting it on to our table. It took a very long time and it was only just over half full.

So if your going to see a film then make sure you tell them before you sit down and they might get your food out quicker. But again it’s great for the price, look out for those offers!

Now I’m no expert on Spanish food, but I am an expert on what I think tastes good and the food at La Tasca is pretty tasty.

They do some good offers, such as “all you can eat for a tenner” on weekdays, plus other offers which you can usually find on the net which will satisfy the credit crunchers! But if you go without a voucher or on a weekend, then your bill may be a little high.

The staff are friendly and polite, whilst being completely over-stretched.. And the cheesecake is to die for! The house red wine is very nice too..

Friendly Staff and Good Service; Most of the food there is nice and I always have sangria when I go there. I do find it a bit dark but in the summer it will be so nice to sit outside in Cabot Circus sipping on a sangria :)

Spanish Tapas place, very friendly as most places in Cabot Circus. You buy several small dishes and share with friends but can be pricey if you add them all up. Drinks not cheap!
