Trendy bar in trendy Prenzlauerberg. Has a living-room feel with lots of big sofas and comfy chairs. It was pretty empty but that was probably something to do with it being a Tuesday evening. However it seemed very relaxed.
I was told that Volksbar doubles as a shoe shop during the day. Haven’t seen it myself….sounds intriguing.
The revamped Volksbar is worth a visit. Well done upstairs area with a mish-mosh of couches and sofas. Comfortable seating and a fairly large room to hang out. Service was super nice (but one star was deducted for being a bit slow….she seemed to be new.) Didn’t visit the club when it was full but a fun location. Drinks were well mixed and the crowd seemed a bit “touristy” yet relaxed and talkative. The location is perfectly situated between Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte and is easy to find. Fun places around to hit before or after trying out this bar. Do recommend that you stop by.
